Hotel Windsor

Here at The Clarence Hotel we welcome all types of guests. Whether you are coming for a weekend break to visit some of Windsor's many attractions or simply need a place to stay whilst working we believe that your stay will be enjoyable and comfortable.

A bit of our Hotels history

Our hotel building comprises the guest house, which was built at the turn of the 1900's. It is one of a pair of buildings, with the second located opposite, for the use of family who are related to the Duke Of Clarence.

Our hotel is based just outside of Windsor town centre where there are many shops and restaurants to cater for all tastes. We are also just a few minutes walk from Windsor Castle, the River Thames and Eton College. Whilst Legoland is also just a short drive away.

Our hotel boasts a range of facilities which are sure to make all stays even more pleasurable. Facilities including a licensed bar, steam room/sauna and large screen cable TV.

In addition to this, we have high speed internet located in the lobby, which is accessible to all our guests for internet and email access without any charge. For guests who have their own laptops and wireless devices we also offer full Wi-Fi coverage free of charge.

Our hotel is located perfectly being close to a range of attractions. Located close to the railway station as local bus routes and major road leading into the town we are ideally located for trips to Oxford, Heathrow and London. Frequent train services operate from Windsor to London, with just a 40 minute journey we are an ideal base for a day trip to London. Oxford is also less than an hour away by car.

If you are travelling out of Heathrow, we are just a 25 minute drive to Heathrow Airport, making us also ideal for travel and business accommodation.

As well as London, Heathrow and Oxford, we are well located for anybody wishing to go to Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World Of Adventures.
